A veteran of the financial world, Brian Simon specializes in helping business owners convert business value into perpetual retirement income in 1-5 years with less worry that the sales price won’t support lifestyle goals, confusion over too many options, or waiting until the business has lost value. His goal is to help you grow your business and leave it on your terms.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Brian enjoyed a successful career as a sports anchor at WINK-TV from 1994-2005. He and his wife were clients of the firm for five years before he recognized his growing passion for helping clients strengthen their financial confidence. Having learned planning principles directly from his advisor, John Bellino, Brian transitioned into the financial industry and joined the AFG team in 2004. Brian’s mission is to make families more financially confident today and help them move toward financial independence.
A Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Exit Planner (CExP), Brian has been working with successful professionals since 2004. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Brian lives in Ft. Myers with his wife, Mindi, and their two children, Sander and Sari.
Actively involved in his community, Brian is a board membe of the Jewish Federation of Lee and Charlotte Counties. He is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Lee County. Outside of the office, Brian enjoys running, playing tennis, reading and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
